Timber colour variation
Timber is a natural product and each log is unique in colour and character. Even within one species there will be natural variations. Some species will exhibit small variations while others vary greatly from log to log and within the log. It should be remembered no matter how big a sample of a species you have seen they are only indicative of the species colour and natural variation that may be expected. Your floor will be different from these samples and totally unique to you in its beauty.

The registered ATIC trademark on our product packaging and documentation signifies that our flooring has been manufactured under ATIC’s rigorous quality control program and that it is certified to comply with the specific grade.

2. Standard As per “Medium Feature Grade” description in AS 2796.2 - 2006deliberately selected to show a limited amount of interesting natural growth characteristics like tight gum veins, tight knots and insect marks, a moderate feature floor provides a subtle reminder of the timber’s natural forest origins. It is a popular and practical choice for family, living and rumpus rooms, as well as bedrooms and office spaces where the occasional scuffs and minor scratches caused by daily foot traffic are better disguised amongst the random features in the timber.* |

3. Feature As per “High Feature Grade” description in AS 2796.2 - 2006 Full feature floors have lots of interesting natural growth features dispersed throughout the timber displaying a variety of permissible features and because of this provides a unique looking floor which works well in high traffic areas in residential and industrial buildings and in any room where a relaxed warm rustic look is sought.* |
